Cute and Easy Sock w/ Beans Easter Bunny Craft!

The bunnies that the kids and I have made so far! We are going to make these for their preschool teachers for Easter!

Are you still in search of any easy and fun craft to do with the kids for Easter? Try this one out this weekend! I got this idea from Family Fun magazine which in my opinion is a fabulous magazine! You take a sock-which many of us have ones that are missing their mate so you may find some in the sock drawer or you can buy some new ones.
Step one: Fill the sock with beans (I used pinto beans). You want to fill all the way up to the ribbing past the heel of the sock.
Step two: Tie where the ribbing of the sock begins with a rubber band
Step three: Cut the ears how ever you want up to the rubber band
Step four: Hard to see from pics but glue a pompom or cotton ball on back for the tail
Step five: Tie ribbon of choice part of the way down to make a head
Step six: Cut out nose and teeth from felt and glue on face
Step seven: Glue eyes on bunny. We used little gems that we found at Michaels but you could use felt or buttons as eyes.
Get creative!
